We’ve been working on these creatures for the past couple months and they are really starting to take form.
Our process:
1. drawing from scientific pictures of animal species
2. using chalk pastels and geometric shapes to flesh them out
3. combining 2 animals (with a partner)
4. making a habitat for the animals (complete with “key”)
5. making a 2-d puppet of the animal
6. designing the animal for its 3d form
7. sewing!
